Geo-Targeting - Definition

In the Google AdWords program, Geo-Targeting allows you to target your ads to specific countries and languages. When you create a new Google AdWords campaign, you get to select the countries or regions and the language(s) for your ad. That campaign's ads will appear only to users who live in those locations and to those who have selected one of those languages as their preference. Therefore, the AdWords ads being served on an AdSense web site, will depend on the advertiser's geo-targeting and a user's settings.
